My thoughts on the similarities between Metroid Dread and Doom 2016.

After recently switching between Doom 2016 and Metroid Dread on Switch, I can’t help but notice some striking similarities between the two games. It's rather... Lonely. Yes, this is a common theme in both but I felt it stronger in Metroid Dread; having to think about using your tools gives the lonely atmosphere better grip than in playing Doom 2016 where you run in guns-a-blazing at the enemies who took over the facility. The OST in both games are master pieces (even my cat agrees) Art is subjective but I think we can all agree that both Original Soundtracks for Doom 2016 and Metroid Dread are amazing, even my little orange kitty fell asleep to both soundtracks while I was playing both on my Switch Lite with a Bluetooth speaker for better audio effect. Both have tunes that match their respective atmosphere which by the way, Metroid Dread is beautiful on Switch.
